Semantic Error 시맨틱 에러 is a Manhwa (Korean Comic) by Jeo Soo Ri adapted into BL (Boys Love) Korean Drama where a computer science major Chu Sang Woo played by “Park Jae Chan” has to complete his project with a design major Jang Jae Young played by “Park Seo Ham” in which he decides to remove his name as he was the one who did all the work. The result came to Jae Young stalking Sang Woo.

Weibo is a social media content app in China. It’s a website launched by Sina Corporation. Weibo is the biggest social platform in China. Semantic Error’s popularity was reaching its peak in China but Weibo deleted Semantic Error posts which were ranking #1 because of its popularity. There were almost 300k posts that were deleted.

It’s questionable as iQIYI is a very popular Chinese video site that also has BL content specifically BLs like KinnPorsche The Series a Thai BL, and Blueming a Korean BL on there. Another point to add BL actors (especially Thai) are being featured and interviewed in Chinese magazines. This tells the popularity of Semantic Error was getting way more recognition than other BLs.
