Blue Lock (ブルーロック) has been on the minds of all otakus because of its amazing manga plot. The anime is scheduled for this year, however, the exact date has not been released yet. 8bit studios will be looking after the animation of this series.
PLOT:
After evaluating the specific condition of Japanese soccer, the Japanese Football Association plans to hire the mysterious and quirky trainer Jinpachi Ego to help them reach their World Cup aspirations. Jinpachi begins the Blue Lock, a prison-like training center in which three hundred skilled strikers from high schools all across Japan are secluded and juxtaposed against one another, having faith that Japan completely lacks an egoism striker ravenous for goals. The sole survivor of Blue Lock will win the right to be the nationwide team’s goalscorer, while those who are vanquished will be permanently barred from making the team.
