Blackpink is a well-known South Korean girl group consisting of four members Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa. They Debuted in the year 2016 with their single album Square One under YG Entertainment. Since their debut, Blackpink has established itself as a famous K-pop act, having been labeled the “largest female group in the world,” the “biggest K-pop girl band on the globe,” and the “K-pop Queens.” They were placed first on Forbes Korea Power Celebrity 40 list in 2019, third in 2020, and second in 2021 in South Korea.
Numerous foreign media sites, including Forbes, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter, have acknowledged the group’s success and role in spreading the Korean Wave over the world.
