Winner is a well-known South Korean Boyband consisting of four members Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, and Seunyoon. They debuted in the year 2013 through a survival show WIN: Who Is Next under YG Entertainment. Winner originally was a five-member group but Taehyun left the group in 2016 due to his mental health issue.
Winner’s Kang Seung Yoon has been diagnosed with Covid-19
On 11th April 2022 YG Entertainment posted an official statement.
It said:
“This is YG Entertainment.
WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon has tested positive for COVID-19 through a rapid antigen test on April 7th after feeling light cold symptoms.
As a result, he will postpone all his scheduled activities and will be quarantined until April 13th in accordance with the health authority guidelines.
Other WINNER members Kim Jin Woo, Song Min Ho, and Lee Seung Hoon have no particular symptoms and they have all tested negative.
We are doing our best to prioritize our artists’ health and safety. We will appreciate it if you could wish for Kang Seung Yoon’s fast recovery.”
