Rent-a-Girlfriend (彼女, お借りします / I’d like to Borrow a Girlfriend; Kanokari) is a romantic comedy manga series that has an anime of the same name. The spinoff of this series is called Rent-A-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend.
In June 2020, Miyajima and Kinami launched the manga. The plot revolves around Sumi, a character from the central Rent-A-Girlfriend sequence. On March 6, the manga restarted after a 14-month hiatus. On May 17, Kodansha will release the manga’s third volume.

The manga is back on hiatus “for a little while,” according to Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket app. Kodansha has not stated when the manga would be relaunched.
