“Sugar Apple Fairy Tale” (シュガーアップル・フェアリーテイル) is an adventure fantasy romance shoujo Light novel series. It is a cute series revolving around the protagonist named Ann. It already has a manga adaptation.
PLOT: Ever since her mother passed away, Ann starts following in her mother’s footsteps by becoming a Silver Sugar Master, a widely respected profession in Highland, where only a few masters of the artistry reside. Ann travels to Lewiston, where the royal household is hosting a sugar sculpture carnival. She must win first place and obtain an aristocratic medal to become a Silver Sugar Master.
Fairies are treated like slaves in this world, and humans start taking one amongst their wings to govern them. On her way to Lewiston, Ann hesitantly purchases a fairy named Shall to serve as a bodyguard. Ann is split between releasing Shall and requiring a bodyguard on the threatening paths going up to the fiesta.
To celebrate the anime adaption, a color page by Yozora no Udon is released in the latest Young Ace issue 5/2022. The date of release is yet to be announced.
