Itaewon Class is a famous South Korean television series. Park Seo-Joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-Myung and Kwon Nara have acted in this Korean Series. Itaewon Class is based on a webtoon of the same name. It aired in the year 2020 on JTBC and is also there on Netflix. Itaewon Class has also won Best Drama Series at the 25th Asian Television Awards.
JTBC has stated that the drama has been signed for a Japanese remake, in which the crew will work with Kakao Entertainment, Kross Pictures, and a Japanese broadcasting firm. The webtoon, titled ‘Roppongi Class,’ was launched earlier this year, and a series adaptation of the original Korean webtoon will be released this summer.
This is the latest update from JTBC as it transfers the creation rights to its well-known series, the most recent of which being ‘Something in the Rain,’ which was announced for an Indian remake in February.
