Stray Kids is a popular South Korean Boyband currently consisting of 8 members Lee Know, Bang Chan, Hyunjin, Changbin, Han, Seungmin, Felix, and I.N under JYP Entertainment. Woojin left the group due to personal circumstances and terminated his exclusive contract in October 2019. The group was formed by survival show ‘I AM’ series called by their now group name ‘STRAY KIDS’ by JYP Entertainment.
Stray Kids’ released their mini-album ODDINARY with the music video of the title track Maniac on 18th March 2022, Following the release Stray Kids even topped the iTunes Top Albums Charts.
On the 24th of march, it was revealed that Stray Kids’ Maniac became their first song to enter the QQ Music Charts.
QQ Music, a joint venture between Tencent and Spotify, owned by Tencent Music is a Chinese music streaming service. As of 2018, the service is expected to have over 700 million users and 120 million subscriptions.
In 2016, the service merged with China Music Corporation, the owner of the second and third largest streaming services, KuGou and KuWo, respectively. QQ Music now controls 15% of the Chinese internet music market as a result of this transaction.
Stray Kids are even trending on Douyin. Just like thunderous, people are using the song for outfit transformation video and the challenge is currently at #35 and #5 in the Hot and Challenge Charts, and more than 18 million people have seen it.
