Tokyo Revengers (東京リベンジャーズ) is a Japanese action drama fantasy Manga series written by Ken Wakui. It was first published on the 1st of March, 2017. It is being serialized by weekly shounen magazine.
Takemichi Hanagaki’s life has hit rock bottom. Just when he thought the situation couldn’t get much worse, he learns that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, was killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang: a clan of brutal felons who have been disrupting current societal harmony for quite some time.
Takemichi is perplexed as to what went so wrong and finds himself travelling through time, resulting 12 years back in time he was still in a relationship with Hinata. Having realized he has an opportunity that would save Hinata, Takemichi decides to permeate the Tokyo Manji Gang and rise through the ranks in attempt to rewrite history and to save Hinata from her cruel demise.
To celebrate the manga reaching 50 million copies in circulation, Tokyo Revengers has featured on the cover page of Weekly Shounen Magazine issue 17/2022. Congratulations to the mangaka and the team!
