Viction is a well-known South Korean Boyband consisting of seven members Han Seung Woo, Kang Seung-sik, Heo Chan, Lim Se-jun, Do Han-se, Choi Byung-chan and Jung Su-bin. They debuted in the year 2016 under IST Entertainment.
VICTON’s Byungchan was diagnosed with Covid-19 COVID-19.
On March 21, VICTON’s agency, IST Entertainment, released the following statement:
Hello, this is IST Entertainment.
We would like to inform you that VICTON member Byngchan has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Byungchan tested positive on the self-testing kit he preemptively used today (March 21), so he immediately underwent PCR testing at a hospital and ultimately tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, Byungchan has taken safety measures in accordance with the guidelines of the disease control authorities. Although he is not exhibiting any particular symptoms, he is in self-quarantine and getting rest. We will release another statement about his schedule as soon as it is arranged. We apologize for causing many people’s concerns, and we will do our best to support the artist’s health and speedy recovery. In addition, we will prioritize the disease control authorities’ requests and guidelines and faithfully comply with them.
