Moriarty the Patriot (憂国のモリアーティ/ Yūkoku no Moriāti) is a Japanese thriller manga story based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes sequence, authored by Ryosuke Takeuchi with the illustration of Hikaru Miyoshi. This is set in the early years of William James Moriarty, Holmes’ arch-enemy. Production I.G’s anime tv adaptation premiered from October 2020 to June 2021. It has two seasons.
The anime follows the story of William James Moriarty, a typical nobleman who works as a consultant to assist ordinary people to handle their difficulties. Yet, buried within him is a yearning to destabilize the current British social framework.
It has been declared that two OVA’s of the anime will be released on the 27th of April in Japan. So dear Moriarty fans, the fun has not ended! Are you excited about this? Stay tuned for more!
