Bubble anime to receive a manga adaptation!

Bubble (バブル) has been trending among otakus as one of the most awaited movies due to its beautiful color scheme and amazing animation. It is set to be aired on the 28th of April, 2022 on Netflix. Bubble had an early screening at Berlin Film Festival on the 10th of February, 2022. It is produced by Warner Bros. Japan and made under Wit Studio.

It is directed by Tetsuro Araki and scripted by Gen Urobuchi, with Takeshi Obata’s character designs as well as Hiroyuki Sawano’s soundtrack.

It has been made known that this beautiful anime will be receiving a manga adaptation. The manga will be illustrated by Hijira Erubo. The circulation will start on the 22nd of April, 2022 via the Shounen Jump Plus web service.

Bubble portrayed the story of a boy and a girl who are attracted towards each other in Japan where gravity no longer exists. Tokyo, isolated from the rest of the planet, has turned into a playground for a bunch of young people who’ve lost their families, serving as a battleground for parkour teams as players jump from building to building. Hibiki, a teenage ace renowned for his daring style of play, pulls a risky strategy one day and falls into the gravity-defying sea. Uta, a girl possessing unusual abilities, saves his life. The two then hear a strange sound that only they can notice. What is the relevance of Uta’s appearance to Hibiki? Their meeting leads to a discovery that will alter the course of history.
