The official English Facebook page for the mobile game The Prince of Tennis II: RisingBeat (Shin Tennis no ji-sama Rising Beat) officially confirmed that now the English version of the game will be discontinued on May 23.
The English version of the game was released in June 2021 for iOS and Android devices. The game is a rhythm adventure game that features characters from the Prince of Tennis lineup and utilises persona songs. The game is freely available with in-app transactions.

In November 2017, the game was released in Japan. There are numerous amounts of tunes in the game, such as the title’s primary theme song “RisingBeat” by Ryoma Echizen (Junko Minagawa). There’s also a U-17 Training Camp form with Prince of Tennis II tale instances as well as a My Area interior decorating mode.
From 1999 to 2008, Takeshi Konomi serialised The Prince of Tennis manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump journal. The manga describes Ryma Echizen, a middle school tennis player, as he competes to advance to the national competition. The said original manga influenced a television animated series from 2001 to 2005, two japanese animation motion pictures and a theatre short, various video animated film initiatives, a live-action movie, a live-action tv show in China, and a renowned stage musical series.

The anime story line Shin Tennis no ji-sama U-17 World Cup (The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup) will officially launch this year, marking the franchise’s 1st tv show in over a decade.
It is rather sad that the game will stop, but the silver lining is that we will have a remake of this remarkable anime! Stay tuned for more!
