Kingdom (キングダム) is a historical action drama anime. With themes such as coming of age, military, power struggle and war tactics, it has captured the hearts of the majority of anime fans. People are eagerly waiting for season 4 of this amazing anime.
The anime follows the story of two orphans, Shin and Hyou. Shin and Hyou are war orphans in the kingdom of Qin during the Warring States Times of ancient China (475-221 BCE). They aspire to prove themselves upon that battlefront someday. However, suddenly, Hyou is escorted to the castle by a chancellor. Hyou manages to come back to the village, clinging to life, despite being on the opposing side of a political battle. Shin then confronts Ei Sei, a kid who looks a lot like Hyou. For the time being, he seems to be the King of Qin; subsequently, he would become Emperor Shi Huangdi.
