Miki Yoshikawa is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series A Couple of Cuckoos. It began serialisation in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2020 after being written as a one-shot in September 2019. Since January 12, 2021, Kodansha Comics USA has posted Kakkou no Iinazuke electronically in English as A Couple of Cuckoos.

Except for Nagi, a grave and socially awkward young man for whom the primary focus is academics, the peers of the Umino residence are rather equivalent: they are full of energy as well as extraordinarily vibrant. He is the complete antithesis of his younger sister Sachi, who is the contrary of her outgoing parents. As a result, this must go without saying that Nagi was exchanged for another baby at birth.

Nagi meets Erika Amano, a young social media celebrity, on his journey to meet his real mom and dad. While choosing to spend a day with her, he discovers that Erika’s parents pushed her into getting married. Subsequently, on the day, Nagi uncovers that Erika’s fiancé is none other than himself, in an attempt for them to become officially a member of one another household. Nagi’s biological father sets up for the fiancés to begin living with each other to strengthen their rapport! Nagi, on the other hand, refuses to marry Erika no matter what their parents do. This is since he’s already set his sights upon someone: the lovely and smart Hiro Segawa.
