Akagami no Shirayuki Hime is a romance historical manga. It has an anime adaptation as well. The anime has 2 seasons. The anime caught the eye of the audience as it depicted the story of Shirayuki (Snow White in English) who has blood-red hair, just like an apple.
Plot
Shirayuki’s adventure to a fresh start at Clarines’ royal palace, along with Zen’s quest to become a prince deserving of his designation, are both depicted in Akagami no Shirayuki Hime. Shirayuki and Zen gradually find a way to support one another as loyal friends, as well as deadly enemies, outline while they trek their own paths.
The story is fresh and unique. The title twists the original story, by giving Shirayuki hair as red as an apple, something that leads to the almost death of Snow White in the original telling.
As of now, only 24 volumes of the manga were released. However, to the bliss of all the fans, the 25th volume has been announced! The English translation of the manga will be handled by VIZMedia.
