The development of a new tv anime series based upon Rifujin na Magonote’s Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel series has been green-lit, according to a special showing of the unreleased Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime episodes held on Sunday. The broadcasting dates as well as other information will be announced later by the crew.
The very first half of its first animated season aired in January 2021, while the second section, which had been delayed since July, aired around October 3, 2021. The series was broadcast in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Mexico, and Brazil by Funimation. The following is how the studio advertised the animated series:
The plot revolves around a 34-year-old man who died while attempting to stop someone from being struck by an automobile. He is shortly reborn as Rudeus Greyrat in a fantastical realm, but his entire existence is restored, beginning with him there as a child.
Rudeus rapidly transforms into a powerful warrior prepared for exploration, combining the whole of his prior experience with a fresh hefty serving of supernatural powers. He’s nonetheless a terrible pervert, by the way.
At Studio Bind, Manabu Okamoto (Gamers!) supervised the series. Development had also been attributed to EGG FIRM. The figures were created by Kazutaka Sugiyama (animation director for DARLING in the FRANXX).
Both of the light novel series as well as Yuka Fujikawa’s manga version have been licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment. Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Gets Serious (Mushoku Tensei: Roxy Datte Honki desu) spinoff manga by Shoko Iwami has also been licensed by the corporation.
