Kokomo is an A rating, 5 star Hydro catalyst limited time character. Her English voice actor is Risa Mei and Japanese VA is Mimori Suzuko. Kokomi celebrates her birthday on the 22nd of February. To commemorate her birthday,

let’s see what the best build is for Kokomi!

Kokomi works as an A tier character as Main DPS, Sub DPS, Support as well as Exploration. Kokomi’s strengths are 

• Excellent Healing capabilities.
• Elemental Skill covers a wide area and can apply Hydro easily.
• Decent DMG Output with her Normal Attacks during her Elemental Burst mode.
• Normal Attacks during her Elemental Burst mode can heal the entire party.

Her weaknesses are:

• Can’t do CRIT Hits.
• High Energy Cost for her Elemental Burst.
• Attacks lack some AoE DMG.

The best role for Kokomi is Main DPS and Support. 

Kokomi Main DPS build:

• Weapon: Everlasting Moonglow
• Artifacts:  Heart of Depth × 4

Her Artifacts set bonus gives her Hydro DMG Bonus +15% and after using Elemental Skill, it increases her Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 30% for 15s.

Her talent priority should be Nereid’s Ascension. 

Description: The might of Watatsumi descends, dealing Hydro DMG to surrounding opponents, before robbing Kokomi in a Ceremonial Garment made from the flowing waters of Sangonomiya. Make sure to keep her stat priority as HP% for Hourglass, Hydro DMG Bonus for Goblet  and Healing Bonus or HP% for the Crown. The substats should be ・HP%・ATK%・Energy Recharge・Elemental Mastery.

Best Weapons For Kokomi In DPS Build:

The weapons that can replace Everlasting Moonglow are: Prototype Amber and Wine and Song. 

Prototype Amber’s Bonus Stat is HP. Using the Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. Additionally, all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s for this duration. 

Wine and Song’s Bonus Stat is Energy Recharge. Hitting an opponent with a Normal Attack decreases the Stamina consumption of Sprint or Alternate Sprint by 14% for 5s. Additionally, using a Sprint or Alternate Sprint ability increases ATK by 20% for 5s.

Kokomi Support Build:

Weapon: Everlasting Moonglow

Artifacts: Ocean-Hued Clam × 4

Her Artifacts set bonus gives her Healing Bonus +15%. When the character with this artifact set heals a party member, 1 Foam will appear. It accumulates healed HP for 3 seconds, then explodes and deals 90% of the HP healed as DMG to nearby enemies. Max accumulated healing is 30,000 HP, including over-heal. There can only be 1 Foam active, but it stays even if you swap out. Foam CD is 3.5s.

Her talent priority should be Kurage’s Oath.

Description: Summons a “bake-kurage” created from water that can heal her allies. Using this skill will apply the Wet status to Sangonomiya Kokomi.

Make sure to keep her stat priority as HP% for Hourglass, Hydro DMG Bonus for Goblet  and HP% for the Crown. Her substats should be HP%, Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery. 

Best Weapons For Kokomi In Support Build:

The weapons that can replace Everlasting Moonglow are: Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer and Prototype Amber. 

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer’s Bonus Stat is HP. When switching characters, the new character taking the field has their ATK increased by 24% for 10s. This effect can only occur once every 20s.

Prototype Amber’s Bonus Stat is HP. Using the Elemental Burst regenerates 4 Energy every 2s for 6s. Additionally, all party members will regenerate 4% HP every 2s for this duration. 

Best team members for Kokomi are: 

1. Raiden Shogun- Electro Polearm

・Can easily set up Electro-Charged reactions.

・Provides a quick Energy Recharge for the party.

2. Ganyu- Cryo Bow

・Can easily set up Freeze Reactions.

・Convenient DPS for high DMG and constant enemy Freeze.

3. Ayaka- Cryo Sword

・Constant Freeze with Kokomi’s Elemental Skill.

・High Burst DMG while perma-freezing

4. Kazuha- Anemo Sword

・Increases Elemental Mastery.

・Good for gathering mobs for Kokomi’s Burst.
