Bushiroad released a Statement saying that a television anime adapted version of Mayoidoufu’s Kuro no Shoukanshi (The Berserker Rises to Greatness) , a light novel, will air in 2022. The firm also disclosed the entire characters, crew, and teaser trailer.
Yoshimasa Hiraike (director of Working!!, Wotakoi) will be doing the direction and series composition of this anime. Miwa Ooshima (Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san, Otome Game no Hametsu Flag shika Nai Akuyaku Reijou ni Tensei shiteshimatta…) will be doing the character design of the anime. It will be produced under Studio Satelight.
The cast of the show is Kouki Uchiyama (Takt Op. Destiny) as Kelvin, Manaka Iwami (Gamers!) as Efil and Reina Ueda (Lord El-Melloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note) as Melfina.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for dvd release in July 2020, and the seventh novel volume and fifth manga volume were released on January 11 and January 25, combined.
